Egyptian actress Hala Shiha appeared on the third day of the El Gouna Film Festival, where she was present on the red carpet to screen her famous film “The Ladder and the Snake,” which she presented 20 years ago with star Hani Salama.

In press statements on the sidelines of the film's special screening, Hala expressed her happiness at the screening of the restored version at the "El Gouna Film Festival", noting that she considers herself lucky to have participated in this film and to have been part of its success.

The story of the movie The Ladder and the Snake The story of the film revolves around two young men, "Hazem" and "Ahmed", who work in an advertising company owned by "Yehia" and have multiple relationships with women. After "Hazem" separates, he meets a beautiful girl named "Yasmine" at one of the parties held by the company and tries to get close to her, while Ahmed lives with his middle-class family and suffers from debts resulting from his late father's business. Then his mother falls ill and dies, and from here the events escalate.
