Hanadi Muhanna: Meeting Al-Fakharani was my dream, and these are my red lines

Rather, she always surpasses herself and proves the merit of her talent and her ability to diversify and embody. She is the artist Hanadi Muhanna, who participated in the series “Thresholds of Joy,” which Shown during the Ramadan 2024 season, starring the artist Yahya Al-Fakharani.

Hanadi Muhanna revealed the behind-the-scenes of the series and aspects of her life. Here is the text of the interview:

First of all.. What did you like about the character “Fella” in the series “Thresholds of Bahja”?

I am happy to cooperate with Yahya Al-Fakharani. My father says, “I am Saber,” and I am proud to cooperate with the Justice League and the Justice Group.

Did you like the role of Fella?

Of course, it is different from the roles I played before, so I enjoyed playing it, and director Magdy Abu Amira gave me a choice between Jamila and Fella, so I chose Fella.

What does it mean to you to stand opposite Yahya Al-Fakharani in the series?

It was a great opportunity to stand in front of Dr. Yahya Al-Fakharani and an important step in my artistic career to participate in a series starring Dr. Yahya Al-Fakharani, and when he offered me this role, I accepted without hesitation.

What about the scenes of “Thresholds of Joy”?

Backstage is great because all my friends are here and I feel comfortable working with people I know and Al Adl Group treats everyone there equally, no matter how big or small they are.. What I like about Al Adl Group is that they are fair with everyone and know people's rights so everyone can respect Their rights.

What is behind the scenes of your cooperation with Jumana Murad?

I worked with Jomana Murad in the series Betrayal Ahd, and the truth is that she is a very dangerous actress.

Were there any difficulties in the role?

I didn't find it difficult to play this role. Rather, I listened, and the role required effort and difference, and forced me to focus on people I did not care much about in my life.

The message of the series, from your point of view?

The series discusses the differences between generations, as each generation has its own journey and stages.

What do you think of the 15-episode series?

A series with 15 episodes is convenient, series with 30 episodes, if not written well, leave the viewers bored.

What about platforms?

The platforms are a masterpiece. You can easily watch any series, including foreign works, Egyptian works, Turkish works, Lebanese works, Syrian works, and others. The platform brought people closer together and made us watch series and films that were not shown on Egyptian television.

There is a group of the public that believes that artists are obligated to answer questions related to their lives. What is your comment?

My life is my own, and I have been known to go about my business without answering personal questions about my life.

How do you deal with criticism on social media?

Some people criticize my work negatively and don't understand anything, but others criticize my role and tell me why. I personally respect these people. They are respected critics and I take their opinions very seriously. I love hearing different points of view.

Do women now enjoy all rights?

I see that now she has it, I love my job and I used to work as a teacher.

What Egyptian food does your mother cook?

Akkawi, Mallouhiyah, and Kawarea. We inherited our personality and home style from my mother, and the musical side and love of food from my father. My father is more eloquent than my mother. He loves playing the piano.

In the end, do you have a dream that you want to achieve?

I want to open a kindergarten, but I don't want to share it with anyone because I love children.
