It's worth noting that the court had previously issued a ruling in the same case, ordering Shakoush to pay EGP 300,000 as deferred dowry.</p><h3 style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Appealing a previous ruling and demanding greater compensation</h3><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Earlier, Reem Tariq's lawyer filed an appeal against a ruling ordering her to pay EGP 960,000, arguing that the amount does not adequately compensate her for the psychological and social damage she suffered, nor does it reflect the substantial profits Hassan Shakoush generates from his concerts and YouTube content.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> With this decision, a new chapter is written in one of the most controversial personal issues in the Egyptian artistic community.<br></p>
