Henedy rejects comparison, describes moving away from comedy as a "crime"

Egyptian artist Mohamed Henedy confirmed that there are no differences between him and his colleagues in the artistic community, noting that staying away from comedy is considered a “crime” for him.

Henedy explained that he does not accept being compared to the great star Adel Emam, stressing his respect and appreciation for him as a professor and symbol of Egyptian art.

These statements came during a television interview with Iraqi media figure Nizar Al-Faris, where Henedy talked about many details in his artistic and personal life, expressing his happiness to visit Iraq and communicate with his fans there.

Marriage is a catalyst for creativity, not romantic relationships with admirers. Mohamed Henedy pointed out that marriage does not negatively affect artistic creativity, but may be a motive and incentive for it, describing marriage as “beautiful.”

He stressed that he does not have any romantic relationships with his fans, and that the matter does not go beyond the limits of innocent "joking."

Regarding his wealth, Henedy commented in a funny way, saying: “Thank God, a reputation for wealth is better than a reputation for poverty,” stressing that true success lies in the love and appreciation of the public.

Henedy refuses comparison to Adel Emam and confirms that there is no successor in art Henedy expressed his rejection of comparisons between him and the star Adel Emam, indicating that he is his teacher in art and cannot be his successor. He said: “Man, no one is a successor to anyone,” adding that each generation has its own mark and that everyone was born from the same womb.

He stressed that his school of comedy is based on the approach of the late artist Naguib El-Rihani, as he believes that the secret to success lies in communicating with people and discussing their issues without belittling them.

Honoring him in Saudi Arabia and his desire to cooperate with director Mohamed Sami Mohamed Henedy expressed his great happiness for being honored in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and obtaining its citizenship, describing this honor as one of the greatest moments in his life. He praised the great renaissance that Saudi Arabia is witnessing in the fields of arts and entertainment, considering himself one of the first participants in this movement.

In another context, Henedy expressed his admiration for director Mohamed Sami and the series “Jaafar Al-Omda,” expressing his desire to cooperate with him in the future. He also spoke about his close relationship with his children, especially his daughter, stressing the importance of following the commandments of the Holy Prophet in modern education.
