Hesham Maged reveals details of "Searching for a Scandal"... and Adel Emam's opinion

Egyptian actor Hesham Maged is preparing to start filming his latest movie, “Searching for a Scandal,” which is a remake of the classic film starring the great star Adel Emam.

Hesham Maged revealed details about his new film, “Searching for a Scandal,” noting that re-presenting old films has become common in Hollywood, as films from the sixties and seventies come back to life at later times.

Hesham Maged: Excited about the idea of re-presenting films Hesham added: "I am excited about the idea of re-presenting films because we have a treasure trove of old films that deserve to be seen by the new generation, and this will make people go back to watch old films."

During his interview on the "Radio Bidhak" program, broadcast on "Radio 9090", Majed said: "The new film has the same story and the same idea as the old film, but not the same details, because the subject is made to suit the era we live in, more modern, but it is the same framework."

Hesham continued: "It is an experience that I am very excited about, but at the same time I am worried, because all the time it will be compared to the old film, which is one of the landmarks of cinema."

Majed promised the audience that they will watch a good movie: “I promise people that we will present them with something good that is not less than the old movie, and I am counting on the fact that a large audience of young people did not watch the old movie at all, so they will treat the movie as if it were a new movie. God willing, we will be able to present something respectable.”
