Egyptian actress Hoda El Mufti revealed the truth about the existence of a second season of the series "80 Baku," after it achieved great success upon its airing during the first half of Ramadan 2025.

During her interview on the program "What's Happening in Egypt," hosted by Sherif Amer and broadcast on MBC Masr, she said that there are no preparations for a second season of "80 Paco ," adding, "There are series that were very successful and were asked to make a second season, and they said, 'We don't want to do that.'"

Hoda El Mufti continued that she doesn't believe in a second season of the series and doesn't think it's likely for several reasons, including her fear of the way the new season's story will be handled. She concluded, "There are successful series because the story is continuous and open-ended, regardless of the ending, but I'm not a supporter of this idea."
