Adele told the Las Vegas crowd: "I'm going to miss you terribly. The only thing I'm good at is singing. I don't know when I'll want to get on stage again but I love you."

This is according to video clips circulating on social media, in which Adele appeared crying as she bid farewell to the audience at her last concert, which she held on November 23 at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

She gave an emotional speech about the show, which drew a star-studded crowd, as part of her "Weekends with Adele" concert series in Las Vegas.

Adele told the audience that she chose to spend the next stage with her son Angelo, 11, instead of touring the world: "So I can keep his life normal," she said, addressing him: "I love you so much."

Adele also thanked her partner Rich Paul for "always" helping her and making her feel like she could do whatever she wanted.

She spoke about her feelings about Celine Dion attending one of her concerts in Las Vegas, saying that she felt calm but cried "for a whole week."
