I fear death from grief and sadness.. Ahmed Azmy asks for a job opportunity

Artist Ahmed Azmy topped the social media trend in the last few hours, after he called on his colleagues in the artistic community to look for a job opportunity for him in any film or series, indicating that he has no other source of income other than acting.

Ahmed Azmy: I hope to get a chance to participate in a work Azmy wrote on his official Facebook account: “Good morning.. With the beginning of a new year in my life, I ask God to grant me and you sustenance and work. I hope to get the opportunity to participate in a work. I graduated from the acting department of the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts in 2006, and participated in many works for which I won awards, such as the Best Supporting Actor Award for the movie “Closed Doors” at the National Cinema Festival, and the Best Supporting Actor Award from the Media Festival for the series “Al-Jama’a”, and the Best Actor Award at the Alexandria Festival for the movie “Stolen Kisses”, and a special award from the jury for the movie “The Promise”.

Ahmed Azmy: I fear death from grief and sadness He added: "I hope that my friends and colleagues, with whom I have worked throughout my life, will help me get a job opportunity and join Egyptian drama. Life has no taste without work. My son is growing up and I do not know how I will help him face life's difficulties. I am deprived of self-fulfillment and I do not have another profession. I fear death from grief and sadness. This is a request and a hope. May God grant you success."

Azmy explained that during the past three years he participated in many artistic works in different Arab countries with a group of stars, including the play "King Lear" with the star Yehia El-Fakharany as part of the entertainment festival in Saudi Arabia, and the series "Harb El-Gabali" in cooperation with producer Sadek El-Sabah. He also presented the program "Immortal Works" and the movie "El-Menbar" in the Emirates, but he has not received any new offers since then.

The union responds On the other hand, Dr. Ashraf Zaki, the head of the Actors Syndicate in Egypt, commented on the appeal of artist Ahmed Azmy, confirming in local statements that the syndicate will provide him with the necessary support.

He also pointed out that preparations for the drama season are still ongoing, and there will be opportunities for Azmy to participate in artistic works.

Zaki praised Ahmed Azmy's talent, saying: "Ahmed Azmy is a talented and respected artist. He is a hard-working student who has won many awards, and there is no doubt that he is in demand in the art scene."
