In Times Square, Ronaldo promotes tourism in Portugal in a distinctive way

In a strong plan launched by VisitPortugal to promote Portugal as a tourist destination to which the world flocks, it took advantage of the event of launching a new wax statue of the world star Cristiano Ronaldo at Madame Tussauds, in New York City, through the acquisition of digital billboards of Times Square.

Ronaldo posted a video clip through his accounts on the social media platforms for the advertising campaign, through which he reveals his new wax statue, and wrote in his comment, “He took possession of Times Square with my new wax figure and showed Portugal to the world.”

In doing so, VisitPortugal provided a glimpse into the world of the best that Portugal has to offer, its people, its culture, and what it has to offer.

Through this campaign, Portugal aims to promote the diversity of the tourist offer in Portugal and its regions, which has the greatest impact on the American public, from nature to history, to choose Portugal as the destination for your next trip.

And the wax statue of Cristiano Ronaldo will be in Madame Tussauds, starting from November 21, 2022, in a space dedicated to the Portuguese athlete called “Experience CR7”, and in conjunction with this and for a period of 15 days, the audience visiting Madame Tussauds will be affected by films about Portugal.
