“Inhuman behavior”.. Al Habtoor undertakes the treatment of child victims of “TikTok”

The issue of the Tiktok gang , which shook public opinion in Lebanon, is still interacting and topping the trend on social networking sites, as the Lebanese people were preoccupied with this shocking story, which exacerbated the fear for their security and the safety of their children, which necessitated the Emirati businessman Khalaf Al Habtoor’s comment on this painful incident.

Khalaf Al Habtoor’s comment on the Tiktok child rape case Emirati businessman Khalaf Al Habtoor commented on the issue of child rape on TikTok in Lebanon, saying: “I was shocked by the news circulating about the “TikTok” gang in Lebanon that lures children and minors, sexually assaults them, and forces them to take drugs,” adding: “Something unimaginable, and unthinkable behavior.” Human and despicable, I cannot find appropriate words to describe his ugliness.”

He added: “We at Al Habtoor Group are fully prepared to undertake the treatment of these children and provide all the psychological and physical treatment they need. We have already contacted the competent authorities in Lebanon to begin this as soon as possible.”

Al Habtoor regrets that today the criminal can enter the heart of our homes through the mobile phone in the hands of children, specifically the TikTok application.

Al Habtoor also called on “parents to completely prevent their children from using it, and to monitor everything they do on the Internet. Oh God, take revenge on these criminals and protect all the children of the world.”

Security forces move The Cybercrimes Office in Lebanon was able to track down some of the gang members, and 6 out of about 30 individuals were arrested. Among those arrested were 3 TikTok influencers, the most prominent of whom was the owner of a barber shop, who owns a page on the famous application and is followed by tens of thousands of followers.

According to the statements of a number of plaintiffs, this influencer usually films his victims, young boys and teenagers, while shaving, in sarcastic videos and with unusual hairstyles, which he publishes to attract more young men to his shop.

The Internal Security Forces in Lebanon had issued a statement in which it confirmed “the availability of information at the Cybercrime Office, and the allegations made by a number of minors to the Public Prosecution that they were subjected to sexual assault and photography by members of an organized gang, in addition to being forced to take drugs in hotels.” several".

The security forces also confirmed that the six people who were arrested are from Beirut, Mount Lebanon, and the North, including 3 minors who are famous on the TikTok application, and they are of Lebanese, Syrian, and Turkish nationalities.
