Producer Ahmed El Sobky said that his film "The Atheist" will be shown and will not be banned.

He added during a phone call to the "Hadith Al-Qahira" program, broadcast on the "Cairo and the People" channel: "The movie "The Atheist" will be shown, God willing, and there are no problems. Its problems are very simple."

Ahmed El Sobky continued: "I released a movie by Ahmed Hatem called "El Ashek" which is a world breaker and it was supposed to be released before "El Mohled", and I will release the movie "A Few Hours in a Day" which is a novel by Mohamed Sadek and stars Hesham Maged, Hana El Zahed, Mai Omar, Ahmed El Saadany, Mohamed Salam and many stars. We are preparing for it to be released before "El Mohled".

So Dr. Khaled said to me, ‘What do you think about postponing the film?’ So I released the film ‘Lover’ and thank God it has made good revenues. I will start setting a date for the film ‘The Atheist’ after that.”
