Jamila Awad reveals exciting details about the development of her relationship with Ahmed Hafez

Actress Jamila Awad revealed the details of the development of her relationship with her husband Ahmed Hafez from friendship to attachment, then love and marriage.

Jamila Awad explained during her interview with the artist, Esaad Younes, on the program “Sahibet Al-Saada” broadcast on the DMC channel, the details of the relationship and how it began to develop slowly.

Jamila Awad: Ahmed was mature and frank in dealing with me At first, Jamila said she was trying to keep her relationship with Ahmed Hafez as a friendship only. She added: “During the Corona period, Ahmed was admiring me, but he didn’t have enough time to communicate with me constantly. He would contact me almost every two weeks to ask about work or a certain festival, or suggest an outing, but I was always trying to push him away and maintain boundaries so that he wouldn’t misunderstand me.”

Over time, Ahmed started communicating with her more frequently and she started to feel attached to him. Jamila continued: “Ahmed started telling me that he loved me and wanted to be a part of my life, and he would tell me that if I didn’t want a relationship, we would still be friends.” She added that what attracted her to Ahmed was his maturity and his genuine interest in her without any attempts to pressure her or exploit her feelings, which made her feel safe with him and look at him differently.

Jamila admitted that she expected Ahmed to stop trying to develop the relationship after a while, but he proved the opposite by remaining present and supportive, which made her become more attached to him as a friend. She explained: “Ahmed was mature and honest in dealing with me, and this made me feel safe and comfortable with him, and I did not try to put him to the test because I wanted to maintain our friendship.”

She added that Ahmed was very successful in his work and loved by everyone, which increased her admiration for him, saying: “Ahmed was a friend, and he gave me all the characteristics of an ideal friend, along with some additional qualities that made me more attached to him.”
