Khadija Moaz talks about being bullied, and how she met her husband

Saudi artist Khadija Muath revealed her experience with bullying, explaining that the negative comments she is exposed to are often related to her skin color, as some people use hurtful words, stressing that she ignores these criticisms because she believes in God’s creation and that everyone is equal.

Most bullying is because of my skin color. Moaz said in her interview on the podcast “Tell Me What You Think”: “Most of the bullying comes because of my skin color, as they call me ‘black’, but I don’t care about that and I don’t see any need to respond to the bullies, as their creator is the same as my creator.”

Khadija meets her husband...and what will she name her children? Khadija talked about meeting her husband, which happened by chance at a royal wedding in one of the Gulf countries, and she explained that the age difference between them is 11 years and that her husband holds Bahraini citizenship.

She also announced her current pregnancy, noting that her husband was happy to receive the news of the pregnancy, and that she was thinking of naming her newborn "Fahd" if it was a boy and "Noura" if it was a girl.

Betrayal in Khadija's life Speaking about her personal experiences, Khadija spoke about a painful experience she went through when her friend, whom she had trusted for 15 years, betrayed her. This affected her mental health and her father was hospitalized due to the shock he suffered. She said: “Excessive security made me vulnerable to betrayal.”

Why did you decide to take off the hijab? As for the decision to remove the hijab, she explained that she did not feel comfortable and that she did not care about the opinions of others as long as she was comfortable with her decision. She also confirmed that combining art and the hijab was not suitable for her.
