Khaled Youssef sues several people for defamation

Director Khaled Youssef announced that he has filed official complaints against a number of public figures and content creators, accusing them of defamation, slander, and spreading false news.

Youssef indicated in a post he published on his personal Facebook page that he went to the Public Prosecution and the Ministry of Interior to file reports against individuals, newspaper pages, and personal accounts, accusing some of them of committing the crimes of defamation, insulting honor, publishing false news, and even providing false testimony before the judiciary.

Youssef said in his post: “Some of them wanted to achieve trends or increase followers, some sought to stay in the spotlight, while some were motivated by hatred, and there were those who tried to cover up their crimes or their involvement in other crimes, as for the others, I do not know their motives.”

Youssef confirmed that he had been patient with the insults for a long time, but he finally decided to take a decisive stance, stressing that he "will not tolerate any insults anymore, even if it is a comment on a post."
