Kinda Alloush tells the story of her cancer for the first time

Actress Kinda Alloush revealed for the first time the details of her cancer diagnosis and her suffering during her treatment journey over the past year and a half.

Kinda appeared in an interview with the Egyptian media personality, Mona El Shazly, in special episodes on her YouTube channel, this Saturday evening, explaining the details of her experience with her hair loss as a result of chemotherapy, and why she hid the news from the public. She also revealed how she dealt with the disease, and her fear for her husband, the artist Amr Youssef. And her children, and how she endured the treatment trip.

Kinda said that 9 months after the birth of her son, Karim, she began to feel pain while breastfeeding, so she stopped breastfeeding.

She added: "The pain continued for 5 months after that and did not stop, so I decided to do a breast examination, and then I learned that there was more than one malignant tumor. When I learned that I had cancer, I lay down for a while, but I did not collapse or cry."

Kinda Alloush continued : “Our Lord bestowed upon me from the first second a tremendous peace and tranquility ever since, and I spent a year and a month receiving chemotherapy, and Amr Jouzy used to come with me to the chemotherapy sessions, and I used to read the Qur’an during them.”

She continued: "I have a history of illness in my family with cancer. My uncle, my grandmother, and my aunt passed away from it, but I did not expect it to come to me... and I refused to tell anyone because I wanted to go through the journey alone, and no one treated me as a patient, so I would not get into the mode of illness and get too tired."

Kinda Alloush concluded her statements by saying: “I decided to live my life normally, because my children are young, so I cannot bring the atmosphere of illness into the house.. I used to leave them in the summer house every week, come and take a dose of chemotherapy and come back on the same day.. and this was a very stressful thing.”
