Leonardo DiCaprio under fire for embarrassing hotel workers

Social media users circulated a scene that some described as "inappropriate" of American actor Leonardo DiCaprio , as he passed through a hotel lobby, ignoring the traditional party that they had prepared especially for him, and the people who lined up to greet him.

A video clip spread on the TikTok application, showing the Hollywood star trying to leave the hotel where he stayed in Nadi during his visit to Fiji, in disguise.

The video quickly drew harsh criticism, with one Fijian saying: "He should have paid attention to the welcome he got in our country."

Another commented: "He is completely disrespectful. He completely ignored our welcome, and did not even say thank you or a greeting," while one commenter said: "He was pretending to answer a phone call."

On the other hand, some fans defended DiCaprio's behavior, as one said, "Leave him alone... maybe this is his first visit to Fiji," and another person pointed out the need to respect his privacy.

The trip to Fiji comes days after he celebrated his 50th birthday with a private party in Los Angeles, which was attended by a number of celebrities.
