After a 17-year career in the world of magic, repentant Sudanese magician Hamid Adam announced his repentance and renunciation of these practices, asserting that what he had done was forbidden and constituted polytheism. This came during his appearance on the "Al-Liwan" program, hosted by Abdullah Al-Mudaifer on the Rotana Khalijiya channel.

The beginning of the world of magic

Hamed Adam began his journey into magic at a young age, choosing to memorize the Holy Quran over academic education, in pursuit of religious titles such as "Sheikh" or "the one who knows God." He migrated to the border with Niger in search of further Quranic knowledge, where he met sheikhs who convinced him that deepening his knowledge of these sciences would make him a companion of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and then a companion of God Almighty.

Jinn subjugation and magic practices

During this period, Adam was able to harness 286 genies to his service, led by a genie named "Sahsebuni," and used them for various magical acts, including "sports" magic. He noted that he performed magic on the Sudanese Al-Hilal team in a match against Al-Merreikh, resulting in a 4-1 victory for Al-Hilal.

strange and scary rituals

Adam explained that he was subjected to strange rituals, such as reciting the Quran backwards and secluding himself for 41 days, eating only three dates a day. He was also asked to pray naked in seclusion, and during this period, he experienced frightening experiences, including the appearance of a genie called "Rouhani" in a frightening form, an insect called "M44" that walks on children's bodies, and a scorpion the size of a helicopter.

Return to righteousness and repentance

After 17 years of practicing magic, Adam met a sheikh who explained to him that what he was doing was magic, not divine blessings. The sheikh convinced him that it is the jinn who commands humans, while the angel commands God Almighty. After this encounter, Adam decided to repent and abandon magic. He began reciting the morning and evening supplications and remembrances from the book "Hisn al-Muslim." He felt that God had answered his prayer and protected him from the harm of the jinn.

Advice for people

Adam advised people against resorting to magic, noting that it is prevalent in poor environments with poor education, such as some African countries and India, while it is less prevalent in European countries. He emphasized that a person can determine if they are bewitched by reading the Quran or performing a legitimate ruqyah. If they feel something in their body, this could be evidence of magic.

Hamed Adam's story highlights the spiritual and social dangers of magic, the importance of raising awareness of its dangers, avoiding it, and adhering to the teachings of the true religion.
