Maguy Bou Ghosn explains the truth about her quarrel with a mother for her violence against her child

During the past hours, the name of the artist, Maguy Bogson, topped the social media platforms, against the background of the spread of a video clip of her, in which she appeared quarreling with a woman in a public place, after that woman violently beat her son.

After the controversy generated the cause of that matter, Maggie went out to reveal the truth about this video, explaining that what happened in this video is only a representational scene that aims to educate people about the danger of adopting violent methods in their dealings with children, through a video clip through her official account on "Instagram". .

Maggie said: "What you saw is not real. This is a staged scene..But this staged scene is real and is repeated every day behind the intoxicating doors or in public."

She added, "The perpetrator of child abuse may be a stranger we do not know, or be the closest person to this child. The abuse takes many forms, including physical, verbal, sexual, or neglect."

And she continued, "Unfortunately, the case of physical violence in Lebanon increased by a significant rate of 23% in the year 2021, and 29% in the year 2022... I know that we all live under great pressure, and this pressure harms us, but we cannot expose our children to harm as a result of the pressure we live through."

She added, "Hemaya Association is concerned with protecting children from any form of violence, and also helps parents in a psychological and social way, and in a specialized way to protect their children."

She concluded by saying, "I would like to announce, through this video, that I joined Hemaya Association, and that I am the media ambassador for this association. We all must be one hand. We are all responsible for protecting our children.. Let us be one hand."

While the artist commented on the video, saying, "We are pleased to cooperate with actress Maggie Bou Ghosn as a media ambassador for Hemaya Association to spread awareness about the phenomenon of violence against children in all its forms. We know that there are many challenges in our societies and the conditions are difficult, but with our solidarity we can protect our children and provide parents with the necessary support to care for their children."

"It is very important that when we witness violence against a child, we intervene safely and with the least possible harm. The safety of children is our cause and our mission," she added.
