Mahmoud Ezzat fulfills an old dream with Adel Emam in "Nostalgia 80/90"

The play "Nostalgia 80/90" was shown at the beginning of the Eid Al-Adha season and was shown for three days, followed by a one-night show at the Qanater Khayriyah Cultural Palace Theater, and was re-shown as part of the New Alamein Festival . This show was inspired by dramas, films, songs, and television programs from the eighties and nineties .

“I love Adel Emam very much, and he is full of his details. My request from Mr. Tamer Abdel Moneim was to play his character, and indeed when the work Nostalgia was proposed, I was surprised that I would play the character of the leader. Since the work was done on the formal details of the character, I felt that the character had completely taken over me, so much so that I did not work on imitating him on stage, but rather my love for him made me play the role with all my senses,” Azzazy continued .

Nostalgia 80/90 play The play “Nostalgia 80/90” stars the members of Al Samer Theater Troupe, and is conceived and directed by Tamer Abdel Moneim. The shows were also presented by the Port Said , Al Horreya, Sohag , and Rod El Farag Folk Arts Troupes. Mohamed Mustafa worked on preparing the musical concept and re-arranging the musical arrangement for the show. The decor was supervised by Engineer Mohamed Gaber, the makeup by Islam Abbas, the fashion designer Rana Abdel Majeed, and the lighting by Ezz Helmy. The show is produced by the General Authority for Culture Palaces .
