Her statements came during an interview with media personality Yasmine Ezz, where she revealed the behind-the-scenes details of her role and her relationship with fellow actress Hoda El-Etreby, as well as her firm decision not to repeat this type of role in the future.

She emphasized that what affected her the most was her mother's annoyance, saying, "My mom got really upset with me and scolded me a lot. I've learned and I won't play the role of a dancer again."

Exhausting preparations and a different experience Mai Al-Qadi described the great effort she put into preparing for this role, noting that she underwent intensive dance training for five months, with two two-hour sessions per week.

Mai Al-Qadi added, "It was difficult. It was as if I was teaching a child how to walk. I had to change my voice to become a teacher, and I also learned to ululate."

Denial of disagreement with Hoda Al-Atrabi Despite rumors of a rift between her and actress Hoda El-Etreby, Mai El-Qadi was keen to clarify the truth, confirming that there was no tension between them.

Mai Al-Qadi said, "I didn't see her on the set, and there wasn't any scene that brought us together. As for me, there wasn't anything."
