Criticism of Sherine at her concert

Singer Sherine Abdel Wahab faced criticism on social media for performing her first three songs in a playback style, with some attendees rushing out of the venue before she could fulfill her audience's desire to perform the songs live.

Sherine Abdel Wahab presented a group of her most famous songs, including (My Patience is Little, The Sensitive String, His Eyes’ Words, Who Chose, Don’t Judge Me, On My Mind) and others.

The doctor's comment on her psychological state

Meanwhile, Dr. Nabil Abdel Maqsoud commented on the criticism directed at artist Sherine Abdel Wahab following her concert at the closing ceremony of the Mawazine Festival in Morocco, stressing that the criticism was unjustified and that Sherine was in good health and stable psychological state.

Abdel Maqsoud said: “I don’t understand why people always criticize Sherine? Is it logical for us to please everyone? Of course not. Sherine came out and sang, and the audience was delighted. We should have been happy for her instead of criticizing her.”

He added: "Her health is excellent, and there is nothing to indicate that she is unstable. Unfortunately, in this day and age, social media has become a constant tool for attacking artists, even their clothing and manner on stage, and this is not fair."

Dr. Abdel Maqsoud concluded his remarks by calling for support for artists and not projecting a negative image of them, emphasizing the importance of embracing and encouraging them rather than attacking them.
