Melhem Zein announces a duet with Al-Shami soon

Lebanese artist Melhem Zein is preparing to release his new album, which will be ready at the end of February 2025.

Melhem Zein album details The album title has not yet been agreed upon, but it will include 6 songs in collaboration with distributors Jamal Yassin and Omar Sabbagh.

The first song will be titled "Halftelak" with lyrics and music by Marwan Khoury, the second is a wedding song titled "Kawkabi" with lyrics and music by Evan Nasouh, while the third song will be titled "Al-Hob Moqaddas" with lyrics and music by Evan Nasouh.

Melhem's comment on his new title On the other hand, and on the sidelines of his honoring at the Murex d'Or ceremony, Melhem confirmed in his interview on LBCI that the title of "Banner Bearer of the Lebanese and National Song" that he received is the most important because it is a great responsibility. This is not a passing award because the homeland is the foundation, the homeland is what brings them together. He considered that this title placed a very huge responsibility on him, hoping that he would be up to the responsibility because the journey is long.

Melhem said that this award is not attributed to himself alone, especially since many artists have previously presented authentic patriotic songs, and the word is very important because it carries a strong position that everyone resists in his own way, including the song.

Melhem did not leave Lebanon during the war. Regarding the recent war on Lebanon, Zain revealed that he did not leave Lebanon during the entire period of the recent war and the situation was difficult and he had to be with the people, but the war was fierce, and he hoped that it would never be repeated because the people were tired and the situation was very bad. He concluded by saying: “May God protect Lebanon and protect every inch of Lebanon.”

Melhem Zein's opinion on the events in Syria Regarding the recent events in Syria and the fall of the regime, Melhem Zein wished all the best for Syria and that the future would be better and more beautiful. He said: “The Levant is a region that God loves with everything in it.”
