Demonstrations outside denouncing and condemning the brutality of the massacres committed by Israel, against innocent children, youth, the elderly and women who did nothing but be born in Gaza, while inside there was a noisy party and strange looks that sparked controversy as attempts to draw attention, differ and lead the trend. This was the scene in a nutshell at the Met Gala, Between the external voices of the demonstrators and the internal party music.

The Met Gala is considered the most prominent fashion event in New York, so the demonstrators approached it in an attempt to draw attention and make their voices heard. But Agence France-Presse confirmed several arrests, and the New York Daily News reported that about 10 people were arrested among hundreds of demonstrators who gathered around the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The organizers posted a blog post on the X platform about the event, which they called “A Day of Rage for Gaza in the Entire City.”

The march appeared to be unrelated to the protests that rocked Columbia's campus and prompted university officials to cancel a major graduation ceremony amid a third week of pro-Palestinian protests that saw police intervention.
