Actor Mohamed Ragab revealed some major news when he revealed for the first time that he had married Lebanese actress Dana Halabi. He noted that the marriage had taken place a year and a half ago, but he had decided not to disclose it during this time because he had never been asked about the matter before.

Rajab felt comfortable with Dana

During an interview with media personality Amira Badr on the "Secrets" program, Ragab added that he prefers not to delve into the details of his personal life, noting that after his first marriage, he never thought he would get engaged again.

He noted that he felt extremely comfortable dealing with Dana, which is why he made the decision to marry her. He confirmed that he currently lives in an atmosphere of happiness and comfort.

The marriage was official.

Dana had previously made statements confirming that her marriage to Rajab was official and not a secret, noting that those close to her and Rajab knew about their marriage.

Touching details of personal life

During the interview, Mohamed Ragab also revealed touching details from his personal life, discussing the psychological suffering his mother endured after the deaths of eight of his siblings and how this affected his childhood and her behavior toward him.

Rajab also explained that his mother suffered from excessive fear for him due to the repeated loss of her previous children. He said, "I was from a middle-class family, and my mother was a housewife, but she lost eight children before me. Some died in their infancy, and others did not complete their first year, which caused her to suffer from a difficult psychological state."

He added that this loss made him constantly feel like a source of great concern to his mother, who was afraid of losing him in the same way, and so she was keen to stay by his side at all times.

He continued, "My mother appointed herself a nanny to watch me. She would enter the classroom and stand by the window to follow me. The school even banned her more than once, but she couldn't leave me alone."
