Nahal Kamel publishes El-Abnoudi's will and his daughter cries on air

He wrote it in his own handwriting eight months before his death and left it to his wife, media personality Nahal Kamal, and his daughter, on the tenth anniversary of his passing.

The will included El-Abnoudi's precise wishes regarding the date of his death, from funeral details, burial arrangements, and condolences to a specific request not to inform a specific person of his death for fear of shock. It also outlined his desire not to hold a funeral in Cairo, preferring it to be held in Ismailia, where he lived his final years.

During the interview, Nahal Kamal and her daughter, Aya El-Abnoudi, shared with the audience the hidden human aspects of their mourning moments, mentioning the names of the presidents and public figures who reached out to the family following the death of their "uncle." Aya also recited some of her father's most famous poems, a performance she has distinguished herself with over the years, drawing great interaction from the program's audience.

During her interview, media personality Nahal Kamal revealed that El-Abnoudi never wanted to have a boy, and she said: “He never wanted to have a boy, but he wanted girls, and he was proud of them.” He says: “Thank God I didn’t have a boy, I wasn’t able to raise children, and just like I rebelled against my father.”

On the other hand, Aya El-Abnoudi started crying while describing a poem related to the moment of her father's death.

Aya El-Abnoudi announced: “After my father passed away, I started seeing them removing the devices from him, and I remembered a poem about death.”

Aya El Abnoudi explained: "My father's relationship with us was special. He was our everything."

For her part, Nahal Kamal said: "He was a very kind and funny person, and for the past 10 years I have been trying to do something for Ibnoudi."

Nahal Kamal continued: "Many people told me that El-Abnoudi is a national treasure, and I have a duty towards him."
