I reached 60. I was working and filming and didn't notice. One day, I was wearing things to gain weight and on my way to the studio, I saw a mirror. I usually dress quickly and don't notice. I looked in the mirror and said, 'Who is she?' It came closer. I was scared and went back to the room and started crying."

Nelly Karim series memories

Nelly Karim continued: "Ms. Kamla, the director, came to me and asked me, and I told her I didn't know. After that, I went home and put on my jeans to make sure that my size was the same and not like the woman I saw in the mirror. I went out to get back to myself."

Nelly also recalled a situation from the series “Women’s Prison” saying: “While filming the series “Women’s Prison”, the character of “Ghalia” was difficult. Once, I went out and met a friend of mine who asked me what was wrong. I told him nothing. After a while, I saw my pictures with him, and at that time, the series was being filmed. I found that I looked like Ghalia. After filming, I take time and I get affected. I like to travel, for example, for a month to get rid of the character. If there are clothes or accessories, I get rid of them.”

Humanitarian position due to “under control”

During the dialogue session, she also recalled a humanitarian situation that showed her the impact of drama on people in general, saying: “After the series “Under Control” was shown, I was standing in my cart getting sandwiches, and I found the seller saying to me, ‘I owe you and I invite you because I know that my son has symptoms of addiction, and this is a simple response to your kindness.’”
