Netflix releases the second season of "Who's Next"

Netflix is gearing up to launch the second season of one of its most successful Turkish series, “Who Were We Running From?” (Who Were We Running From?), starring Serenay Sarikaya. The new season brings exciting developments in the story of "Layla Taylan" and will officially air on May 15, 2025.

A new beginning for Laila... and the appearance of a mysterious man changes the course of events.

After abandoning Omar on their wedding day, Laila tries to start a new life free of complications. She moves to a new house and tries to let go of the past with the help of her close friends. But her life is suddenly turned upside down with the arrival of Cem Muradan, a mysterious businessman who smoothly intrudes into her daily life, leaving her facing a mixture of emotional tension, fateful decisions, and sudden upheavals. The second season offers an emotionally rich journey, delving into the details of complex relationships, self-discovery, and the challenges of emotional independence.

Big stars behind the work... and a strong return for the makers of the first season.

The collaboration continues with writer Ece Yörenç, who is behind the exciting plot, and director Bertan Başaran, while the work is produced by Ay Yapım, a leading Turkish production company.
