<p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr">The Cairo International Film Festival announced the selection of the Palestinian film “Passing Dreams” to open the 45th session of the festival, which is scheduled to be held from November 13 to 22.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The film “Passing Dreams” will be screened for the first time in the world at the Cairo International Film Festival. It is a feature film directed and written by Rashid Masharawi, and co-starring Adel Abu Ayyash, Emilia Maso, and Ashraf Barhoum. Music by Johann Cortet, and photography by Duraid Manjam.</p><h2 style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> <span style="color:hsl(187, 48%, 51%);">Fleeting Dreams movie details</span></h2><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The film's story, which was filmed in Bethlehem, Palestine, revolves around the hero, Sami, who is 12 years old, and takes us on a one-day and one-night trip, accompanied by his uncle and his two-year-old cousin, in search of his lost bird, after his neighbors told him that it might have returned to its original homeland.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The journey in the film extends from a refugee camp in the West Bank to different Palestinian cities, including Bethlehem, Old Jerusalem and Haifa, through which we discover what happens, the difficult daily life of Palestinians and its impact on their personalities and their relationships with themselves and others.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> For his part, artist Hussein Fahmy, head of the Cairo Film Festival, said: “We are happy to screen the film “Passing Dreams” by director Rashid Masharawi, which is a great cinematic work about the Palestinian cause and what the citizen in Palestine is going through, at the opening of the Cairo Film Festival.
