This visit is part of the Princess's ongoing efforts to support patients and improve healthcare services, particularly for vulnerable groups. The visit received widespread attention within the healthcare and humanitarian community, conveying messages of solidarity and closeness to those suffering from the disease.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Direct support for patients and their families</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The princess began her visit by stopping at the Dar Al Hayat space, a center dedicated to accommodating patients and their companions coming from distant areas to receive treatment in Fez. This space has a capacity of up to 48 beds and includes a lounge, waiting rooms, a kitchen, a dining room, as well as administrative offices and a meeting room. The purpose of this facility is to provide dignified and comfortable living conditions for families accompanying their loved ones during the treatment process.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Visit to the Hematology and Oncology Center</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Princess Lalla Salma then visited the Hematology and Oncology Center for adults and children within the university hospital. She met with a number of patients and their families, engaging in a touching, humane atmosphere, and distributed gifts to children with cancer, a gesture that conveyed hope and psychological support alongside medical treatment. This humanitarian moment reflected the princess's belief in the importance of psychological support in enhancing patients' chances of recovery.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Advanced health infrastructure for cancer patients</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The Hematology and Oncology Center at Hassan II Hospital in Fez is one of the nation's leading specialized centers. It includes a 36-bed pediatric and adult ward, a day hospital equipped with 22 chemotherapy chairs, and a six-bed bone marrow transplant unit. The center also includes 12 medical consultation rooms, enabling it to meet the growing demand for cancer treatment services.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Lalla Salma Association... Twenty years of giving</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Since its founding in 2005, the Lalla Salma Association for the Fight Against Cancer has worked to make the fight against this disease a national public health priority.
