Egyptian director Rami Imam revealed his new film project, in which he revives one of his father, the leader Adel Imam’s, most famous films, the film “ Searching for a Scandal ” issued in 1973, in a new version that carries a different vision to suit the taste of the modern audience.

Rami Imam explained in press statements that he is currently working on preparing to release the film during 2026, saying: “I am currently working on the film ‘Searching for a Scandal’ which my father presented in 1973. We are remaking it, but in a way that addresses the new generation.”

Rami Imam pointed out that the aim of this step is to present a contemporary treatment of the famous comedy film, while preserving the essence of the original story that the audience loved, and giving it a new youthful spirit that reflects the changes in society and the evolution of the language of cinema.

Hisham continued: "It's an experience I'm very excited about, but at the same time anxious, because all the time it will be compared to the old film, which is a landmark of cinema."

Majed promised the audience a good film: "I promise people that we will present them with something good that is no less than the old film, and I rely on the fact that a large audience of young people have not seen the old film at all, so they will deal with the film as if it were a new film. God willing, we will be able to present something respectable."
