Rania talks about betting on her show, Episode 11, Expired

Episode 11 of Expired saw Sharqawi (Hassan Malek) meet Farah (Jessica Hossam El Din) in a café and talk about the bets that Rania (Heba Magdy) intends to present in the latest episode of her TV show.

After Farid (Amr El-Qady) promised his wife, Ne'ma, that he would repent from gambling, he kidnapped one of his sons, Mahmoud, and demanded a ransom from his mother, Ne'ma, of 100,000 pounds to pay off his debts to the gamblers. This drove her crazy and sad as a result of her husband's actions and her son's absence from her due to gambling.

This prompted Ne'ma to seek help from Safaa (Donia Maher) and Rania, as she learned of her husband's kidnapping of his son due to gambling. She pointed out her inability to act or think to solve her problem, while Safaa pointed out that there is nothing in the law that stipulates that a father kidnaps his children.

While Saleh (Mohamed Farag) tries to fix his relationship with his father (Sami Maghawry) after he left the house and went to live alone in a rented house.

Safaa returns home and talks to her husband, Fathy (Mahmoud El Leithy), about Safaa's case and the kidnapping of her son, due to gambling. This stirs his feelings about living a healthy life before entering into gambling, and he decides to delete the game and return to his life and teaching profession.

As his phone rings with a call from Yassin's student, who brings him the good news of his recent win from the betting game with Sharqawi and Saleh, which brought him an estimated 150,000 pounds in winnings, he reinstalls the app seconds after deleting it.

Sharqawi is surprised by Maher's (Tamer Nabil) visit to the club where he works, to talk to him about problems with his bank account. After an examination, the account revealed irregular financial transactions involving large sums, raising suspicions about the source of the funds.

Maher was trying through this conversation to find out the nature of Saleh's work and his strong relationship with Sharqawi, but the latter cleverly convinced Maher that he worked in real estate and car brokerage and that he was ignorant of the nature of Saleh's work, while Captain Samir (Mohamed Abdo) was spying on this conversation and realized Maher's ignorance of the nature of Saleh's work in betting, which provided him with an opportunity to pressure him in the upcoming episodes.

Saleh and Sharqawi plan to place a new bet on the Portugal vs. Georgia match, while the latter indicates that he is withdrawing from the bet due to its risk.

Fathi calls Sharqawi several times to ask for his financial gains. They agree to meet, where Saleh is surprised to find his sister's husband involved in the betting game. He tries to convince her to invest his winnings in a new bet.

But Fathi refuses to risk his money and decides to withdraw. Saleh responds with arrogance, threatening to inform his father of the nature of his business if he doesn't receive his full winnings. Saleh responds with another threat: he'll tell Fathi's wife, Safaa, about his involvement in the gambling business. At this point, Fathi decides to submit to Saleh and Sharqawi and join the new gambling venture.

Rania turns to Major Ahmed El-Dessouki to discuss the case of Ne'ma and her husband Farid, in an attempt to find a solution to her problem. The major reveals that gambling is currently under surveillance due to its spread, using methods that go beyond gambling and adventure, and delve deeper into crime and money laundering.

Regarding the case of Naama, the major pointed out the difficulty of proving that a father had abducted his son, noting that there was only one way to resolve the issue: submitting a missing persons report for the father in order to trace his whereabouts and, consequently, the whereabouts of the child.

At the end of the episode, Sharqawi and Saleh watch the Portugal vs. Georgia match, which ends with Georgia defeating Portugal. This results in the latter winning the bet, doubling his bet from 300,000 pounds to more than 3 million pounds, which makes him extremely happy.
