Reham Saeed arrested in Beirut after escalation of her crisis with Nader Saab

The crisis between Egyptian media personality Reham Saeed and Lebanese doctor Nader Saab continues to escalate, as she was arrested upon her arrival at Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut, to attend a court session related to the ongoing dispute between them.

Reham Saeed arrested at Beirut airport Saeed expressed her deep resentment at the situation, accusing Nader Saab of using his influence to prevent her from entering the country.

In a post on her official Facebook account, she appealed to the Egyptian embassy in Beirut to intervene, saying: “Please, someone contact the Egyptian embassy. Nader Saab used his influence and stopped me at the airport while I was coming to attend the session.”

Reham Saeed did not stop at announcing her arrest, but she also sent a direct message to Nader Saab, confirming that she will not back down from her position, as she said in her post: “I’m not afraid, Nader. I hope you come to the trials in Egypt, just as I came to Lebanon, no matter what you do. You’re a doctor, you disfigured me and made a medical mistake. Do you need money?”

The origin of the dispute between Reham Saeed and Nader Saab The dispute between Reham Saeed and Nader Saab began after the Egyptian media personality accused him of undergoing a failed plastic surgery that caused serious disfigurement to her face, which later forced her to undergo corrective surgeries. In February of last year, Saeed filed an official complaint with the Egyptian Attorney General against Nader Saab, asserting that she had suffered burns and disfigurement due to what she described as “medical negligence” during his treatment of her.

In contrast, Nader Saab denied all the accusations, stressing that he works according to medical standards, and announced that he will take legal action against Reham Saeed in Egypt and Lebanon on charges of defamation. He also pointed out that she had previously undergone several plastic surgeries before resorting to him, claiming that her problem was not the result of his medical intervention.
