Salah Abdullah raises "confusion and concern" of the audience

Artist Salah Abdullah has raised the public’s confusion and concern for him after he wrote a mysterious post on his personal Facebook page, which made many wonder whether he meant in his post to hint at retiring from art or a desire not to participate in artistic works, in addition to speculation about his health condition.

Salah Abdullah stirs controversy with this post Salah Abdullah posted two photos from his first work in which he played the role of “Doma” in the series “Sanbal Baad El Million” next to a photo of his last work on television, the role of “Khamis Fatiha” in the series “Al-Atawla” in the Ramadan 2024 season. He commented on the two photos with verses of poetry in which he said: “First appearance and last appearance… O Omar, you have gone from one role to another… My goal and my wish is the ending credits… I will be remembered for goodness in it.”

Salah Abdullah denies retiring from art Commenting on the matter, Salah Abdullah denied what was circulated about his retirement from acting, stressing that he did not mean that in the post he wrote.

He explained that he intended in his post to remind himself of his works, his first appearance in TV drama and his last appearance, in addition to his desire to gain the audience’s prayers for him, because their prayers make him very happy, as he said: “From time to time I like to remind myself that I have presented a journey and many works, and the two works that I wrote are from my first appearance on TV and my last appearance because some people brought me works that I presented after “Al-Atawla” in the cinema, but I meant the TV works.”

He added: "I like to remind myself of my work and gain prayers from good people, and I am happy when people pray for me."
