Clinic closure and its reasons Egyptian authorities closed the Dao Derma clinic on April 16, after detecting violations related to the use of unlicensed cosmetics and administrative licensing issues.

In an official clarification, Dr. Ahmed El-Beltagy, the technical director of the clinics in Egypt, confirmed that the clinic has been operating legally since 2020, noting that the closure was the result of paperwork related to the transfer of the license from the previous doctor to the current management.
