Shams Al-Kuwaiti criticizes girls' exaggerated makeup

The Kuwaiti-Saudi artist, Shams Al-Kuwaiti , sparked controversy with her advice to girls about excessive use of cosmetics, as well as displaying the clothes and possessions they possess, considering that this is evidence that she suffers from a defect in femininity.

Shams Al-Kuwaiti said in a video on her personal Snapchat account that she does not mean to completely abstain from using cosmetics, explaining that sometimes she may do so because she is an artist.

She added: "I mean those who persist in these behaviors, but some people put on strong makeup or dress up once or a number of long times. I do it once, but not always."

Shams Al-Kuwaiti mocked the way some girls put on makeup and chose their looks, saying: “The girl who is always accustomed to having three-meter eyeliner, thin jars, and hair with extensions, has an imbalance in the feminine energy, while the masculinity is higher.”

"Shams" continued that showing off one's appearance is essentially masculine energy, saying: "So a woman who shows off what she owns and her appearance with make-up and looser clothes has a higher masculine energy."

Shams Al-Kuwaiti said: “Girls, beware of female characteristics. The thing above her is softness in choosing, and the proof is, look, European and Arab princesses do not wear fake eyelashes.
