She escaped death.. Taapsee Pannu's career and the controversy surrounding her marriage

Tapsi Pannu, known professionally as Taapsee Pannu, is an Indian actress who works primarily in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil films. She was born on 1 August 1987. Pannu has won two Filmfare Awards and a Filmfare OTT Award.

After a brief modelling career, Tapasi Pannu made her acting debut in the 2010 Telugu film Jhummandi Naadam and went on to star in the Tamil film Aadukalam until 2011. She made her Hindi film debut with David Dhawan's 2013 comedy Chashme Baddoor. After starring in several Telugu and Tamil films, Pannu gained recognition for her performances in the 2015 Hindi spy thriller Baby and the 2016 courtroom drama Pink, both of which were critically acclaimed.

Early life of Tapasi Pannu Taapsee Pannu was born on 1 August 1987 in New Delhi to a Jat Sikh family, her father, Dilmohan Singh Pannu, is a retired real estate agent while her mother, Nirmaljit Kaur Pannu, is a homemaker.

The Dilmohan family, who lived in Shakti Nagar, Delhi, was targeted during the anti-Sikh riots of 1984 but survived after finding shelter in the homes of their Hindu neighbours. She has a younger sister, Shagun.

She completed her schooling from Mata Jai Kaur Public School, Ashok Vihar and studied Computer Science and Engineering from Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology, Hari Nagar.

After graduating, Patasi Panu worked as a software engineer, then became a full-time model after auditioning and being selected for the 2008 V Channel talent show Get Gorgeous, which eventually led her to acting.

On the other hand, Bano has appeared in many print and television advertisements and won several titles during her modeling days, including Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh Face and Safi Femina Miss Beautiful Skin at the Femina Miss India 2008 pageant.

According to what Mathias Boe, Taapsee Pannu's husband, posted on his official Instagram account, he shared pictures from inside a courtroom to show that the couple signed the marriage contract at this moment.

In another post, her husband Mathias Boe wrote: “2024 has come to an end and it was a very eventful year for me, one of the years that saw big changes in my life, as my best friend became my wife, and my family became bigger. I wish everyone a happy new year full of love from your families and friends.”

It is worth noting that Taapsee Pannu met badminton player Mathias Bo in 2013 during the inaugural Indian Badminton League, where Mathias was playing for Awadhi Warriors while Taapsee was the brand ambassador for Hyderabad Hot Shots.

Upcoming works of Tapasi Pannu in the new year 2025 Taapsee Pannu is currently gearing up to shoot her new film Gandhari in early 2025, and the names of the actors participating with her in the film, which will be released at the end of the year, are expected to be announced soon.

Banu's first release in 2017 was the romantic comedy Running Shaadi, in which she played a Punjabi girl who helps couples elope for marriage.

The film received mixed critical reception but Banu received unanimous praise for her performance.

Then, Patasi Pannu played the lead role in the naval war drama, Ghazi Attack based on the mysterious sinking of the BNS Ghazi during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. The film was shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi and performed modestly at the box office.

Patasi Pannu reprised her role in a spin-off of her film Baby titled Naam Shabana, and Pandey noticed that Pannu's seven-and-eight-minute sequence as special agent Shabana Khan in Baby was well received by the photographers and after that he decided to give the story a major arc.

In the same context and for the role, Patasa Pannu trained in different forms of mixed martial arts such as Kudo and Krav Maga. Both the film and Pannu's performance received mixed reactions, as some critics differed on Patasa Pannu's performance, some praised her and some criticized the role in general.

Patasi Pannu's subsequent roles were a ghost in the Telugu horror comedy Anando Brahma and the hero's girlfriend in the action comedy Judwaa 2.

The film was a huge commercial success, grossing over 2 billion rupees (about $23 million).

It is worth noting that Patasi Pannu had a great series of releases in 2019, the first of which was the psychological thriller Badla directed by Sujoy Ghosh, an official remake of the 2016 Spanish film The Invisible Guest.

The film also marked her second collaboration with Amitabh Bachchan and she was initially offered a supporting role and the film had a male lead, however, Banu convinced the producer to make the lead role a female and he agreed and offered her the role.

Badla received very positive reviews, as did Banu's performance as Naina Sethi, the smart businesswoman.

In her review of the film, film critic Namrata Joshi of The Hindu Bano praised it for being "in fine form".

In the same vein, the film has achieved strong box office results, and Patasi Pannu's performance in the film earned her the Zee Cine Critics Award for Best Actress in addition to her second nomination for Best Actress at the annual IIFA and Screen Awards.

Patasi Pannu then played a wheelchair-bound game designer who faces a home invasion in the psychological thriller Game Over, directed by Ashwin Saravanan.

He stated that the film was shot simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu and during the shoot, Patasi Pannu had to be in a wheelchair for 12 hours for 25 days.

The film and her performance were then praised; Saibal Chatterjee said that Bano was never less than convincing and might be the main reason why you should go out and watch this wonderful film.
