Sherine Abdel Wahab issues a statement regarding Hossam Habib and her daughters

Egyptian artist Sherine Abdel Wahab has decided on the fact that she is returning to her ex-husband, artist Hossam Habib , after the news that was reported recently about their reconciliation and engagement again.

Sherine confirmed in a press statement, on Wednesday evening, that all the rumors that spread about her returning to her ex-husband are baseless, noting that she only has an artistic collegial relationship with him, and that she has the utmost respect and appreciation for him, and that there is no intention of returning to him again.

Through her legal office, Sherine warned journalists and media workers against not respecting the sanctity of her private life, and against including her name or the name of any of her family members in any news related to her personal life.

She pointed out that she commissioned her lawyer to take legal action against a journalist, after publishing false news about her personal life, and including her daughters’ names in that news for the purpose of achieving fame and stirring controversy around her and her family.

It indicated that a report had been filed against the journalist at the General Administration of Information Technology Investigations.

Sherine returns to work with Habib Sherine had returned to working with Hossam Habib again, as the duo had been with each other over the past few days, more than once in one of the sound studios in Cairo.

Press sources said that the return of the relationship between Sherine and Habib began since her last appearance in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, last January, where he was accompanying her, and he was the one who made her choices for the songs that she performed at the “Joy Awards” concert.

Sources close to both parties also claimed that the father of Sherine Abdel Wahab’s daughters, the Egyptian music distributor Mohamed Mostafa, took his two daughters, Hana and Maryam, to live with him during that period until things calmed down for their mother.

Sherine and Habib officially separated on the fifteenth of last December, after a marriage that lasted nearly 5 years, following the escalation of differences between them over the past months, the last of which was before the “Masterpieces of Sunbati” concert, which was held as part of the “Riyadh Season” activities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia, and as a result, Habib did not appear with his wife during the ceremony.
