Sherine Abdel Wahab obtains a final ruling in her favor against Rotana.

Egyptian artist Sherine Abdel Wahab has obtained a final ruling in her lawsuit against Rotana Audiovisual Company, ordering the company to pay 2 million Egyptian pounds in compensation for the damages she suffered.

Details of the court ruling Sherine's lawyer, Counselor Yasser Qantoush, announced on his official Facebook page that the Cairo Economic Court has issued its final ruling in Case No. 533 of 17, confirming that Sherine's contract with Rotana has completely expired and that the company is obligated to compensate her financially.

The lawyer responded to the deletion of the songs Qantoush explained that the company's deletion of some of Sherine's songs was illegal, and that Rotana will bear financial responsibility for this.

He also confirmed that his client voluntarily paid the penalty clause, which leaves her completely free to publish her new and previous works on various platforms without any restrictions.

Sherine has complete artistic freedom after the ruling. Following the final ruling, Sherine Abdel Wahab is now able to publish and re-release her previous songs and any new works on all social media platforms without requiring any permission from Rotana, opening the door for her to resume her artistic career with complete freedom.
