Sherine Al-Lajmi reveals the details of her new album, “Ya Bakhti Piya”

Tunisian artist Sherine Lajmi is preparing to release her new album, “Ya Bakhti Biya,” on audio platforms, after the recent success of her song “Mish Qad al-Hob,” which she released at the beginning of this year.

Sherine says in press statements, about her song “Mish Qad Al Hob”: My artistic plan for the year 2024 was based on releasing my new album at the beginning of the year, but when the Tunisian artist Muhannad Maharmeh showed me the song (Mish Qad Al Hob), I liked it very much, and I decided that it would be The song is my first work for the new year, and the album was postponed for several months until the song gets its right to spread. Thank God, the song was able in a short period of time to achieve millions of views.

Regarding the details of her new album, she said: My album will include 6 songs, all of them in the Egyptian dialect, which I am proud of and love to sing in. In the album, I will present the Egyptian Saidi dialect for the first time, and it is expected that the album’s songs will be released successively during the next few weeks, and the album will be titled “Ya Bakhti Piya.” ".

Sherine Al-Lajmi revealed that the album's songs were filmed in more than one country, and said: All the album's songs will be released in video clips, and those songs were filmed in four countries: Turkey, Egypt, Tunisia, and the Emirates. I chose Turkey because the majority of the song's rhythms are similar to... Turkish music, as for Tunisia because it is my country, and filming was done in Egypt because the album is Egyptian, and I also chose to film in the Emirates because of my strong love for that country, which I was surprised by its beauty.

Al-Lajmi chose the voice of the late Tunisian artist, Zikra, as her favorite Tunisian voice: “God has blessed Tunisia’s voice with dozens of good voices, but for me, the most beloved voice in my heart is the voice of the late artist, Zikra Muhammad.
