1. Beginning, you cooperate with the artist Dina El-Sherbiny in the story “Even after a while” within the series “It Happened Al-Hafa”, which is the third collaboration between you two after another advertisement and movie.. What about that experience?

Dina is my love and friend. Work becomes “tastier” and nicer when we work with our friends. I sit with her in the same caravan and we talk a lot, because my relationship with her on a personal level is very strong.

2. Tell us more about the story and what motivated you to it?

The stories of the series “It Really Happened” are generally terrifying and dangerous, given that they are real and we relied on real stories from psychiatrists around the Arab world, but we do not know their owners for sure because it is a secret between the patient and the doctor, but we know the story itself, and we try to embody it within the framework of the drama.

3. Let's move on to the latest important artistic events held in Egypt. Sherine is known for her activities in festivals. Why was she absent from the Cairo Film Festival?

I was filming more than one work, as we have a show date and we are committed to the end of filming before it, so I did not have any time to follow up or think about the dress preparations and these things.

4. What do you think of the dress code that Hussein Fahmy, the festival's president, imposed this year?

I was not aware of it, but the question is, did the artists adhere to it? this is the question.

5. What about your experience as a jury member at the British University and the talents you met?

I am very happy with this experience, and that we have really talented young people. I love that every student has a hobby other than studying and living his life. Every person must have a hobby or artistic talent that develops his personality and makes his mind open, and not only focus on textbooks and do nothing but education. Even if he does not have great talent, it is sufficient for him to empty his energy into something, so he can draw or write poetry or a story.

6. In conclusion, what is new that you are preparing for or waiting for its presentation?

I have the movie The Atheist, written by Ibrahim Issa, starring Ahmed Hatem and Mahmoud Hamida, as well as the movie “In the Glory of Dahr” with the international Mina Massoud, and the movie “Cairo Makkah” starring Mona Zaki.
