The series is a social drama and is slated to air during the upcoming Ramadan season.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> "Sondos"... a woman fighting the harshness of reality</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Mortaja plays the role of "Sondos," a poor woman from a working-class neighborhood who faces harsh challenges after her husband, Faisal (Jamal Al-Ali), abandons her, leaving her alone to face the burdens of life and raise her son. Sondos works selling junk at a modest stall, but finds herself in conflict with her brother, Abu Qasim, who refuses to lend her a helping hand. It includes an elite group of stars, most notably: Salloum Haddad, Abdel Hadi Al-Sabbagh, Salma Al-Masry, Nadine Khoury, Lujain Ismail, Joan Khader, Walaa Azzam, Madiha Kenaifati, Rana Risha, Hoda Al-Shaarawi, and Tim Aziz.
