In a sad voice and in a touching message to the soul of her friend, Subhi Atri, Shukran Murtaja shared a unique poem titled: “From Within.”

Shukran Murtaja bids farewell to her friend Sobhi Atri with a touching message titled “From Within”

Shukran began her message by saying:
“To the soul of my media friend Sobhi Atri, to my friend who waited and was patient, I am here now... and you are there.”
Then she continued:
“I am not here to say goodbye to you, because people like you never leave. Perhaps you should close your eyes for a while to rest from the futility and noise of this life.”
She added:
“I know, my friend, that life doesn’t embrace us as we passionate people do, but rather embraces us harshly, thinking that we are ready to be patient and have the luxury of endurance. Most of us are tired of saying I’m fine, but we’re not, and perhaps you’re one of them, but now I’m certain that you’re fine, because you’re there, where there’s no waiting, no fatigue, no flattery, no disappointment, no failure, only pure love befitting your pure heart.”
Shukran concluded her message by saying:
“Sleep, my friend, as befits good people, light from all this world, and close your eyes in peace, for you have passed the waiting, and rest far from the noise of life, from within... Shukran Murtaja.”

Shukran Murtaja: “Friendship is not about the number of meetings, but about the impact.”

Shukran Murtaja not only bid farewell to Sobhi Atri with her voice, but she also shared another touching message on her Instagram account, in which she said:
“To the soul of my friend Sobhi Atri.. Friendship is not measured by the number of years, nor by the number of meetings, nor by the number of messages.. Friendship is like love, it is born young and grows with loyalty, trust, and altruism.”
Then she continued to explain her relationship with him:
“I don’t claim that I saw you every day, nor do we correspond every moment, or see each other for perhaps months, but the impact is what defines our friendship in this world. How many friends do we see every day and consider family, but they are just passersby in our lives who have packed up and left. How many friends do we consider passersby, but they leave a great impact on us with their presence and even more so with their loss? That’s you, Sobhi, you are not just a passerby, but a friend who left an imprint on my memory and my heart.”

Sincere prayers and loyal greetings to the departed friend

Shukran Murtaja continued her speech, confirming that her feelings are sincere and that she is not seeking the spotlight. She wrote:
“I don’t want your obituary to be a trend, a spotlight, or fame, but rather some loyalty to the meeting and a smile for your departure. It does not mean hypocrisy, but rather pure love, which everyone expresses in their own way.”
She concluded by praying for mercy for him, saying:
May God have mercy on you, grant you a good resting place, and accept you into the eternal gardens of Paradise. Patience to your mother, family, friends, and all those who loved you from afar. To God we belong and to Him we shall return.
