Today, the great Syrian artist Fadwa Mohsen passed away at the age of 84, after a rich artistic career in which she left her special mark on Syrian drama.

The Syrian Artists Syndicate mourned the late artist through its social media accounts. The post read: “The Damascus branch of the Artists Syndicate mourns the passing of our colleague, the distinguished artist Fadwa Mohsen. We will inform you later of the funeral and burial dates and the date of condolences... To God we belong and to Him we shall return.”

Artist Fadwa Mohsen was born in Deir ez-Zor and began her artistic career in 1992 through "Tarabish," which was the beginning of her artistic career. She also participated in many dramatic works that varied between social, Levantine, historical, and others.
