This came after he suffered a severe knee injury resulting from a torn anterior cruciate ligament. The injury required urgent surgery at a private hospital, based on doctors' recommendations, before he began his treatment and recovery journey.

A period of treatment and complete rest amidst the support of his fans

Following the surgery, Tamer Ashour underwent a period of physical therapy and complete rest at home as part of a meticulous treatment plan devised by his medical team. This prompted him to withdraw from all upcoming artistic engagements. Despite this, the artist was careful not to completely disappear from his fans, insisting on performing the "Night of a Lifetime" concert in Kuwait alongside superstar Tamer Hosny, in a clear gesture of appreciation to his fans.

Earlier, Tamer Ashour issued a press release detailing his health condition, confirming his commitment to physical therapy sessions and medical recommendations. However, he refused to cancel all of his concerts, and instead decided to appear at the Kuwait concert, as well as at his upcoming concert at the Mawazine Festival on June 24, emphasizing that his connection with his fans is stronger than the circumstances.
