“The Assassins” Episode 26... Karim Abdel Aziz loses his second son

The 26th episode of the series "The Assassins", which was titled "The Heir to the Castle", witnessed escalating events, as Hassan Al-Sabah, Karim Abdel Aziz, lost his second son, Al-Hadi, after he announced him as the heir to rule the Alamut Castle after him.

The episode began with Hassan's marriage to Badr Al-Badour, the daughter of a shepherd who lives outside the Alamut Castle, out of a desire to have a child who would grow up in his hands and be given the rule of the castle after him.

The next day, Badr informs her husband, Hassan, of her pregnancy. He is overcome with happiness and tells her about his plan to go to Alamut Castle, while she raises their son until he grows up and then sends him to him.

Badr is shocked and accuses her husband of madness. Hassan confirms that he will not back down from his plan and advises her that she must identify their son when sending him to the castle, as he gave her a ring that no one else has, and through it, Hassan will recognize his son.

As for Hassan's first wife, Donia, she began implementing her plan in Isfahan, where she exposed her husband for his evil actions and his killing of his son, Hussein, without any pity or mercy, which sparked the anger of her daughter, Khadija.

Khadija blames her mother, Donia, for speaking ill of Hassan. Khadija assures her mother that she has begun to feel hatred towards her and must stop exposing Hassan, but Donia insists on her position and shows her bad qualities, including murder and false beliefs.

The episode also witnessed Hassan Al-Sabah heading to the citadel, where he took his young son, Al-Hadi, out of prison, gathered preachers, and announced to them that Al-Hadi was the heir to rule after him, which angered Barzak.

Barzak took advantage of Al-Hadi standing alone on the castle walls in the middle of the night, so he threw him from the top of the wall, ending his life.

Events and heroes of the Assassin series The Assassins series takes place in the eleventh century AD, where Hassan Al-Sabah is the leader of the group that assassinates responsible and prominent figures. In the series, Nicolas Moawad plays the role of the poet and scholar Omar Khayyam, and one of Al-Sabah’s friends.
