The Syndicate of Actors of Theater, Cinema and Radio in Lebanon mourned the death of the Lebanese actor and writer Samir Shams, who passed away at the age of 82 on Sunday evening after a sudden health crisis. His family confirmed that his body will be buried today, Monday, August 12, and condolences will be accepted tomorrow, Tuesday.

A family member of the late artist revealed the details of the funeral and memorial service, announcing that the burial will be on Monday, August 12, 2024, at 1:00 PM in the Martyrs' Cemetery. Condolences will also be accepted on Tuesday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the headquarters of the Association for Specialization and Scientific Guidance in Ramlet al-Bayda.
