The public expressed its sympathy for Hoda Hussein following the decision to stop artistic works offensive to Kuwaiti society, as well as artistic and theatrical works that were filmed or shown in Kuwait, issued by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information, without mentioning the title of the work.
