The opening of the Riyadh season dazzled the entire world, as last night witnessed global opening events, and due to the arrangements and system that were at the highest level, Chancellor Turki Al Sheikh , Chairman of the Saudi Entertainment Authority, announced that the opening ceremony of the Riyadh season had entered the Guinness Book of Records.

Turki Al-Sheikh said on his Twitter account: "Praise be to God, we obtained the Guinness World Records certificate for the largest number of drones (unmanned aircraft), by launching fireworks at the opening ceremony of the Riyadh season."

The Riyadh Season 2022 kicked off, under the slogan "Beyond Imagination", and the activities began yesterday, with a global party that includes a show by Cirque du Soleil.

Al-Sheikh explained that the new season includes 15 regions, and each one is characterized by a special entertainment character, and the most prominent of these regions is "Boulevard World", which includes the cultures and atmospheres of several countries around the world, represented in America, France, Greece, India, China, Spain, and Japan. , Morocco, Mexico, and Italian Venice, where all these countries will present their experiences through restaurants, markets, and arts.

In addition, the "Boulevard World" area includes the largest artificial lake in the world, where visitors can enjoy riding submarines for the first time in the city of Riyadh, and they can also enjoy a number of distinctive activities, such as the Combat Village, the Super Hero Village, and the experience of the largest ambassador in the world, in addition to There is a cable car to move between the area and Boulevard Riyadh City, which is located in its vicinity, and the city accommodates up to 3 thousand visitors every hour.

In addition to the presence of a number of free areas during the season, such as the "Suwaidi Park", "Zaman Village" and "Al-Zal Market", and a number of activities that attract all visitors, including families, individuals, children and the elderly.

The season also includes a group of sporting events such as WWE, the Riyadh Season Cup that brings together the Paris Saint-Germain team with the stars of Al-Hilal and Al-Nasr, Cirque du Soleil international shows, and 65 days of fireworks events.
