The sudden departure of Ehab Galal ignites sadness in the sports community

Ehab Galal, the technical director of the Ismaili team and the former coach of the Egyptian national team, passed away after suffering a health problem early this month, and was subsequently transferred to a hospital in Heliopolis.

Death of former Egypt national team coach Ehab Galal Captain Ehab Galal passed away today at the age of 57, after suffering a health problem at the beginning of the month, when he suffered a stroke that required him to undergo surgery.

We offer our sincere condolences to the family of the late Ihab Galal and to all football fans, asking God Almighty to have mercy on him.

Ihab Galal Ehab Galal has had many training experiences in the Egyptian League, where he supervised the training of teams such as Misr El-Makkasa, Beni Suef Telephones, Enppi, Zamalek, El-Masry, Ismaily, Pyramids, and Pharco.

He also led the Al-Ahly Tripoli team in the Libyan League, and had coached the Egyptian national team for a short period in April 2022, and his last coaching station was with Ismaili since August 2023.

Essam El-Hadary mourns Ehab Galal Essam El-Hadary, the former goalkeeper coach of the Egyptian national team, expressed his deep sorrow over the death of Ehab Galal, the technical director of the Ismaily team. El-Hadary posted on his account on the “X” platform, saying:

"There is no power or strength except with God, to God we belong and to Him we shall return... Shocking news for all of us with the passing of the honorable captain and dear brother, Ihab Galal, the former technical director of the Egyptian national team."

He added: "I ask God to have mercy on him, forgive him, and grant him a place in His spacious gardens, and to grant his family and relatives patience and solace. To God we belong and to Him we shall return. We ask you to recite Al-Fatihah and pray."
