The Syrian Artists Syndicate reinstates the dismissed artists

The Artists Syndicate in Syria issued a decision to reinstate all artists whose membership in the syndicate had been previously cancelled.

New Artists Syndicate Decision The decision stated:

Based on the provisions of Law No. 40 of 2019

And on the provisions of the internal regulations of the Artists Syndicate

And based on the decision of the Syndicate Council in its session held on 12/17/2024,

After reviewing the sessions of the Artists Syndicate Council dating back to 2015 and following, which included the dismissal of many artists (members - trainees) for financial and other reasons, if any.

Decides as follows:

All dismissed or deleted colleagues, male and female, shall be re-registered in the records of their union branches in accordance with the rules.

All branches of the Artists Syndicate are requested to prepare lists of artists dismissed from their records, each according to his branch.

2015 Separation Decision In 2015, the union issued a decision to dismiss 192 of its most important representatives, due to their failure to pay “financial union dues.”
